May 2, 2024: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) today announced its 18-member squad for the upcoming T20I series against Ireland (May 10-14) and England (May 22-30). The squad for next month's ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 after the first T20I in Leeds on May 22 will be whittled down to 15 players to meet the ICC's May 24 deadline.The men's national selection committee has called up fast bowler Haris Rauf and all-rounders Hasan Ali and Salman Ali Agha in the 18-member squad. The two cricketers who were left out of the original 17-man squad against New Zealand are batsman Usama Mir and fast bowler Zaman Khan.

Haris Rauf and wicketkeeper/batsman Azam Khan have been sidelined for the T20Is in New Zealand due to injuries, while middle-order batsman Muhammad Irfan Khan and wicketkeeper/batsman Mohammad Rizwan have been rested for the two T20Is in Lahore due to blisters.

Four cricketers underwent a fitness assessment at the National Cricket Academy on Tuesday afternoon, which showed significant improvement.
